Why should the gov’t be involved in this at all? Why should public funds be allocated to private benefactors? If rural people want internet service, they can buy it. If they can’t afford it, all you’re saying is that they are not willing to pay the price. What DeSantis is saying is that urban dwellers should pay for rural services. Why??
