My wife had pretty intensive abdominal surgery. 3 times in a year. A whipple-which is a massive surgery. And two colon surgeries. The last time, they had to bring in a specialist to close her because there was so much scar tissue.
She wasn’t in the hospital for 10 days for the Whipple and 5 days for the other two.
I cannot imagine what is going on with The POW that had her laid up for two weeks. That has to be some heavy duty cutting and reconstruction.
It would be tragic to lose Kate. It seems she is just about perfect for her position, and as a wife and mother.
