DITTO, I too am a PCa survivor—so far—Dx’d in 2007. I suspect the lymph nodes were found to be involved or a metastasis to the bones.

This is exactly why each and every man should have a PSA blood test yearly! At any uptick then have a diagnostic test to see what is happening.

Yep, PSA test alerted my doctor to my prostate cancer and a few years later alerted him to a few leftover cancer cells after my prostatectomy.

Obama’s HHS told people that PSA tests were more trouble than they’re worth Although not a doctor nor a government bureaucrat, I humbly disagree with them. Get the test!

Yup. Was tinkling more frequently. Had a PSA 9 years ago. A simple blood draw. Looked elevated. Then the old finger up the bum. Found a "bump". (A MRI is a better tool but wasn't offered to me back then.) So I had a biopsy which confirmed suspicions.

Hadn't I had a PSA, my stage 1 would likely have been moving to a more severe stage before I knew it - and to who knows where in my body.

I still get a PSA twice a year to make sure all is "normal".

Autopsy the prostate of most men who die of what ever after age 65 and you'll likely find cancer there.
