The US Intelligence Community asked foreign spy agencies to surveil 26 associates of Donald Trump in the run-up to the 2016 election, which triggered the allegations that the former president’s campaign had been colluding with Russia, according to a report.
Former CIA Director John Brennan identified and presented the targets to the US’s intelligence-sharing partners in the so-called “Five Eyes” agencies – the intelligence-gathering organizations in the US, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand – according to a report published Monday on Michael Shellenberger’s Public Substack.
The report by independent journalists Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi and Alex Gutentag has not been confirmed by The Post.
They cite multiple unnamed sources, including ones close to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, led by Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio).
Turner’s office did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
The US intelligence community had “identified” the 26 Trump associates “as people to ‘bump,’ or make contact with or manipulate,” one source told the outlet.
In spy-speak, “bumping” is when a reason is manufactured to meet with a target of interest in order to develop a relationship that could lead to intelligence.
“They were targets of our own IC and law enforcement — targets for collection and misinformation,” the source said.
Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters intelligence apparatus, or GCHQ, was making contacts with Trump’s associates as early as March 2016, according to the report.
“They were making contacts and bumping Trump people going back to March 2016,” a source told the outlet. “They were sending people around the UK, Australia, Italy — the Mossad in Italy. The MI6 was working at an intelligence school they had set up.”
A GCHQ spokesperson told the outlet that claims it was “asked to conduct ‘wire tapping’ against the then president-elect are nonsense.”

The entire concept of the 5 eyes was to skirt US law against domestic spying which was forbidden to the CIA. The 5 eyes concept that it’s not domestic spying if the Brits or Aussies discover something and inform the CIA about it.
Now it is to the point that the CIA designates American citizen targets for British spies to go after. And these are not terrorists or criminals... they are legitimate political opponents.
This is fully criminal and there needs to be prison terms, and a massive disbanding of the CIA.
It is no different than hiring a hitman to murder someone, then feigning innocence.
The CIA is criminal. The FBI is just as bad.

In every concept of US law, five eyes is a violation of that very law. Entering into a conspiracy to get someone else to do something forbidden to you by law is still a criminal conspiracy.

The best example is documented in George Papadopolous’ book “Deep State Target.” A must read book. The whole operation was run out of British Office, which was led by Gina Haspell. Once Trump was elected, she was brought in to destroy the evidence. I have a strong suspicion that Josef Mifsud, who taught at the Italian Spy school, was “silenced” because he knew too much.
It will require more than that. I want hangmans gallows.
It's odd - but freepers have been aware of bits and pieces of this information for years. Including the part about Mifsud. And we knew the part about the Brits working hand in glove with our thugs. Strange. I'm assuming some of the good guys leaked - and since it's impossible to stop all people from talking - they decieded to flood the zone with crap - and bully anyone who started seeing the truth. We really do have a big problem with a possible coup.. one by our intelligence thugs.

The majority of them got away, or were given help by the U.S. government, who helped relocate them, and employed them for counter-intelligence purposes. Klaus Barbie, "TheButcher of Lyon" was one of those animals that the CIC, precursor to the CIA protected. They paid him $1,700 a month as of 1948 when he was recruited. They even lyed to the French government who wanted to arrest him for his war crimes, claiming they knew nothing of his whereabouts. Yet they were the ones who got him to South America, and helped him bring his family over from Germany. They even let him travel back and forth from South America (Bolivia) to New Orleans and San Francisco as an agent, providing him with the alias of Klaus Altmann.
