The word “bombshell” is overused, but what just went down in Georgia was more like a nuclear blast.
UPDATE: BIG FANI TESTIFIES LIVE… WATCH:
ORIGINAL STORY:
Caught in the fallout are Big Fani Willis and her lover, Nathan Wade. The case against Trump in Georgia is now in serious doubt. Furthermore, Big Fani and Nathan Wade appear to be in serious legal jeopardy, facing anything from sanctions to disbarment to even felony charges.
To recap, the judge in Trump’s Georgia case ordered a hearing to decide whether or not Fani Willis and her boyfriend ought to be thrown off the case due to misconduct, self-dealing, and misleading the court.
A Georgia judge ordered a two-day hearing this week to determine whether he should disqualify District Attorney Fani Willis from the racketeering case against Donald Trump because she had a romantic relationship with the lead prosecutor.
Trump co-defendant Michael Roman wants to question witnesses in court after accusing Willis, the Fulton County district attorney, and special prosecutor Nathan Wade of having an improper secret romance when she hired him in 2021 to lead the investigation into Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Roman’s attorney claims Willis has paid Wade more than $650,000 and they’ve received improper personal and financial benefits that require their removal from the case.
That hearing went down today, and it could spell the end of Fani.
A Georgia official who is prosecuting Donald Trump began an affair with a top lawyer on the case earlier than she claims, a court has heard.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and Nathan Wade have said their relationship started only after she hired him in late 2021.
But a former friend of Ms Willis told the prosecutor’s misconduct hearing that the affair began in 2019.

She went mini ballistic today when they BARELY SUGGESTED that!
affirmative action
The only people I know of who would keep that kind of cash on hand are meth cookers/dealers-but this is a rural area-hello, Walt...
Here’s your diversity hire world, functioning as it will with these types in positions well beyond their capacity.
Trial by Ghetto. Rarely ends well.
They will say it would be unfair to punish someone simply for being stupid. Let her continue her persecution of evil President Trump.
No checking account? No bank account withdrawals? How’s that possible?
William J. Jefferson’s freezer had $90,000 and Fani is no chump-change William J. Jefferson!
Never heard her speak before today.
She sounds like the type who could create mayhem in an urban McDonald’s.
If she paid for Wade’s trip, then that should be on Wades disclosure form,
shouldn’t it.
Or did he file one? After all, it was a significant birthday gift.

I do not trust anything anymore. Everything thus far has been a lie, so what is stopping them from committing another crime & what will we be able to do if they do?
Pray people, do not view this as a slam dunk. In the US this would be a slam dunk, but we are no longer in the US.
Her father was kind of a thug.
When she was shown the text of the regulation, she said she didn't think of the dinners as gifts, and she said Wade would pay one time and she'd pay another time.
Then she was asked about when she was quoted in a book about not having a relationship with someone who worked in the same office. She said she never said that, she said she wouldn't sleep with an employee. She said she never thought of Wade as an employee, he was a contractor. The lawyer then said her quote was wrong and she actually said "I would never sleep with someone who was under me" and that Wade was under her, and then that's when the judge stepped in and shut down that line of questioning.
I can't say that the judge was protecting Willis or just that the point was made and it was time to move on. Again, there is no jury, the judge is deciding from the bench so he gets to say when he's heard enough on that point.

::She is THE most annoying person I have ever heard speak. Nails on the chalkboard does not do it justice. It’s more like getting your nails pulled off with pliers.::
You’ve never heard Jessica Tarlov or Dana Perino or Kayleigh McEnany - all on FOX Cable??? Three on one channel is a bit much. I’m ready to turn the TV off when I see who is going to be on Outnumbered or The Five...
I watched hours of the hearing in Atlanta today and I have an aversion to voices but I didn’t find Willis’s voice irritating - her manner and attitude yes, but voice no.
I love this revolver publication
“”doesn’t she think it would be prudent to have receipts or transaction records for all the stuff she “paid” cash for?””
Are you kidding? When you tell lies, you don’t remember to fill in all the holes. She thinks everything she’s done is on the up and up..even to telling the world she keeps large sums of money in her house because her daddy taught her to do that...
She’s great at obfuscation - just keep talking and hoping everyone forgets the question...She doesn’t think a lot of residents in and around Fulton County aren’t going to object to and be offended about the amounts of money she threw around like it was nothing???
Trump could have hired better lawyers. I think they did a rotten job as I said in another thread..
“BIG FANI”
Very apt.
You have records of things you paid cash for? I don’t.
Part of her rhetoric made me think of those on the stand in My Cousin Vinny except this is no comedy.
That judge is NOT going to Disqualify BIG FAT FANI....NEVER!
I thought the judge did a fair job unlike other responses here and called everyone on things they needed to be warned about..”we covered that - let’s move on etc.”
Additionally - do you think SHE has any idea how she looks from the rear in that tight pink dress???? Shouldn’t someone tell her? LOL Talk about lumps!!
