Not real sure it’s even a good place to live for anybody, even though the state does have a number of tourist attractions.
Back in the mid-60’s Uncle Sam (he was benevolent then) had me living in Massachusetts. We would frequently take meandering Sunday afternoon drives, sometimes wandering into NY. Night and day. Everything looked shabby in NY. Same phenomena I experience now crossing the state line from illannoy into Wisconsin.
