Be specific. Our country is a REPUBLIC and the Constitution cites REPUBLIC in its text as well (Art. IV, Sec. 4).
So in this day of lies, be precise and argue that we are a REPUBLIC not a democracy.
A pure democracy is two foxes and one chicken voting on what to have for lunch. There are zero protections for the minority even if it is 49%

Leftists, being less clever, really have no interest in the original meanings of words in the English language. They don’t have interest in a solid cultural or patriotic institutions. They are the ones flacking the irresponsible meaning of words. They are the ones throwing away the beautiful, joyous original meaning of words like gay to mean buggery. You are now the one giving in & urging others to censor the true meaning of democracy. A republic is a republican form of democracy- that’s fact!
