I didn’t know I was learning Russian math in Iowa 50 years ago.

Years ago I worked in a pizza emporium in New Haven CT.
A college student came in and ordered a 18-inch pizza to go. When the baker removed the pie from the oven and placed in into a box, he asked the student if he wanted the pie cut into six or eight pieces. The college student said after a short time, “Six pieces. I do not think I could eat eight pieces.”

I believe it has been shown having music classes as well as foreign language classes as part of the general curriculum does help with being able to grasp the language of math.
The problem was intentionally started with common core.
Math proficiency in the U.S. should only be tested at the graduate school level. That’s because graduate schools are the LOWEST level of education in the U.S. where the average instructor and the average student are serious about the quality of the education.

I wonder if the establishment is setting up the blacks for failure by reducing their math education, and then send them to college in place of white and asians, where they will be indoctrinated to be resentful and hateful of society.
