The global elites are desperate to ramp up the heat against Putin himself since the West is losing in Ukraine. The West wants the wealth of the Russian lands, the minerals, the control.

Has anyone rational actually thought about why Russia would want to deal with the millions of Muslim illegals all over Europe? Its failing economy? Why would Russia want Europe?

Russia has oil. Europe does not. Russia has natgas. Europe does not.

Then there are folks who imagine Russia wants a border buffer of land expanding outwards.

Why? Long range missiles eliminate the value of such a buffer.

Just get rational and consider the why question. Russia would not want the US for similar reasons. Only the poor flow into rich countries, and what value do they have?

Do you happen to know the destination of most of the Ukrainians who fled the war? I do. I looked for it.

It’s Russia.

Get real. Duh West is not monolithic, and if Duh West had wanted to divvy up Russia, they would have done so in 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed and became destitute. Russia is losing in Ukraine, and Ukraine would be destroyed in the conflict, too, except that Russia is contained in the East and South, but it’s eating up men and resources, and has already disrupted two planting seasons and might cause the loss again of the winter wheat come spring.

Stop repeating Putinista talking points. He is not worth it. His folly and megalomania is destroying Russia, and Duh West is busy destroying its own lands’ wealth for stupid reasons. They have a death wish, and so does Putin.

If there is any conspiracy, it is the “great reset,” and Putin is as involved in it as any Davos fat cat. That would explain the wanton destruction of Russia’s and Ukraine’s men, as well as Ukraine’s lands.

But I’m sick of repeating myself. Once upon a time, Free Republic was where free debate happened, and there were well informed people exchanged information and ideas. Those days are gone. Instead, we are bombarded with idiocy here. I’m done. There must be some other forum.

Ciexyz: "The global elites are desperate to ramp up the heat against Putin himself since the West is losing in Ukraine.

Naw, that's just nonsense because the truth is that the only thing anyone on planet earth has ever really wanted from Russia is that Russia's military stay the h*ll inside their own borders, period, end of discussion.

Everything else is just pro-Russians babbling nonsense to distract attention from what really matters.

As for who is winning or losing in Ukraine, one set of numbers I saw said Russians lost 16,000 soldiers taking about 16 square miles of Avdiivka, or about 1,000 Russians lost per square mile.
Another report said Russian serious casualties were around 400,000 soldiers in 24 months, or roughly 500 per day.

In the past 12 months, Russians have taken around 350 square miles of Ukrainian territory, at an average cost of nearly 600 Russian soldier lives per square mile of Ukrainian territory temporarily occupied.

Sadly, Ukrainian losses are also high, though it's claimed only 1/3 on average Russian losses and only 1/10 during Russian "Meat Wave" assaults.
