I think she is setting herself up as the alternative if something happens to Trump or in the pole seat for 2028. Tea Party (Trump) voters won’t go for her in 2028 because she is establishment.

I think the same people who buttered up Liz Cheney are now buttering up Nikki Haley. Of course as soon as her usefullness is over they’ll dump her as ‘a hero’ and drop her like a hot potato.

Yup—I call it the “Dead Ender” wing of the Republican Party—it includes the J6 committee Quislings.

“My thought is she is hoping and helping to Make Trump Go Away. That leaves her as the only Republican on the ticket.
(Whatever it takes, whatever). She does not represent any conservative.”

My thought as well. She is counting on the Democrats to lock up Donald Trump and throw the keys away.

What you said, she is holding out hope she will be the one because lawfare takes Trump out of contention.

"I wanna be around to pick up the pieces", she says.

I’m not a “Trump hater”. I voted for him twice. If his losing to senile Joe Biden didn’t tell you what most voters think of Trump, I can’t help you. Whoever convinced him to start dissing his rivals (”Desanctimonous” Desantes/ “Birdbrain” Haley) is a stealth Dem imo who hopes to prevent POTUS Trump Part 2. Seems to be working well so far.

If the democrats want to waste their money on her, let them. Sooner or later that bucket will be dry.

The Dems don’t actually need as much money as we think. Thy have media, entertainers, and academia pimping for them. Add to that an urban, swing-state racket of ballot-harvesting and you’ve got a formidable machine regardless of how much cash they have.

If you think that President Trump actually lost to Bidementia you are indeed a useful idiot and no one can help you.

No 19th = even a greater landslide for the best president in our lifetime, but of course you wouldn’t know that.

It so she can get RNC money until she’s forced to flip over to the other side.

RE: CAN SHE RETAIN ANY CAMPAIGN FUNDS WHEN SHE QUITS ??

I asked the chatbot Claude.ai your question, and here’s what I got:

Politicians in the United States can retain unused campaign funds when they leave office under certain conditions:

Campaign funds are regulated by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and individual state laws.

At the federal level, campaign finance laws allow politicians to use leftover campaign funds for future campaigns or election-related expenses even after leaving office. This includes things like polling, travel, or donations to other candidates.

They can also use excess campaign funds to pay for expenses related to being a former public official, such as office space and staff.

There are some restrictions - campaign funds cannot be used for personal expenses or converted to personal use. Politicians also cannot pocket unused campaign funds as personal income.

Some states allow former politicians to donate surplus campaign funds to charity or transfer them to a new campaign for a different office.

Candidates are also allowed to reimburse themselves for loans they made to the campaign from personal funds.

However, strict reporting requirements apply and unused funds remain under the jurisdiction of the FEC even after a politician leaves office.

So in summary, politicians at the federal level and in many states can retain and use leftover campaign funds in limited ways after leaving office, but there are restrictions in place to prevent personal use or misuse of the funds. Oversight continues even after they quit politics.

The Democrats are panicking.

Obviously they do not think President Trump is likely to lose to Joe Biden.
