It’s more than just purity. It’s about loyalty. Trump doesn’t need another back-stabber waiting in the wings. Tulsi is an opportunist who has no loyalty to MAGA or to Trump. After all, this is the woman who called Trump “Saudi Arabia’s bitch” in November 2018. Is this somebody who can be relied upon to have Trump’s back? Hell no.

Tulsi Gabbard is not eligible for the Vice Presidency. She wasn’t born in the United States and therefore makes her a non-natural born Citizen for Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5 purposes of the Constitution.

My guess is she came back as CIA. The intel agencies have taken to directly running many candidates into Congress and the Senate.
