How will he stop it? If he doesn’t post a bond, Letitia James will start attaching assets. He may ultimately win on appeal, (though I’m skeptical) but he’ll be compelled to pay a good portion of it before its done, one way or another.

TBH, I would consider letting the court seize assets. If he puts up that kind of cash, he will NEVER see it again.

And if he had to borrow the money, he will be in a tough position with the creditors getting it paid back.

Cash can vanish or get tied up forever by the government. You can't disappear buildings.

I think he will be vindicated on appeal ultimately. No one knows how his restitution will be handled once the state has commenced seizing/liquidating, if it comes to that.

Everything about this case is novel, so I pray there will be a novel resolution to make him whole at some point.

AT LEAST THOSE LEGAL FEES WILL BE DEDUCTIBLE FROM HIS INCOME

NOT sure about all the “FINES”.
