Way too premature for anyone to declare their candidacy for Senate Rep leader. That should be done after the election because there will be a new Senate next year. For Cornyn to jump in so early shows both arrogance and a grasping desire for power. That alone should disqualify him.
I agree. I vote in Texas. I am more interested in voting Cornyn out of office than seeing him become speaker. Every 6 years, in radio ads, he becomes a conservative’s conservative. “I will protect your gun rights, I am pro-life, blah, blah, blah” Then, once re-elected, back to mega-RINOhood.
