NEVER FORGET! Rush Limbaugh was on AM radio. AM Radio is the choice of truckers and conservatives as they drive down the highways and byways.

The RedState Interview: Cruz Explains Why He’s Fighting to Save AM Radio

EXCERPT:

In an exclusive RedState interview, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) explained why his bill to preserve AM radios in vehicles is a winner for consumers and the country. The Cruz bill, The AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act, which would mandate that automakers keep the AM radio, already has 47 co-sponsors and passed the Senate’s Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, so it is awaiting a floor vote. This should be the year to celebrate the centennial of the AM car radio, a fixture in automobiles up until now. Yet instead of celebrating this landmark, BMW, Mazda, Volkswagen, Tesla, and others are all planning to eject AM radio from the dashboard.

>>>So sorry to hear that Ted Cruz’s legislation didn’t save AM radio, after all.

Having listened to AM radio talk shows for over four decades, I know how vital it is to hear great voices of liberty who speak the truth like the incomparable Rush Limbaugh.

Without access to the AM band, motorists will be denied such important information and be stuck listening to endless music (or noise IMO), sports and other far less compelling content.

Yep ... and, why they (TPTB) want AM radio out of all cars.

NO conservative radio/airwaves, for YOU, plebs!

A few months after buying our Dodge Dart at the end of 2014 the AM and the GPS went out, got a whole new system installed.

About a year later the AM and FM went out, got a whole new system again.

We are on our 3rd system and the AM never worked on it but the FM does and so does Sirius so we just gave up having AM in the car.

I do think it is wrong that car makers are making the decision to not have AM on their radios and I would consider a boycott if this is the case.

TPTB have been trying to kill AM for a long time, Rush saved it once.

Glad Cruz is stepping up.
