The judge is going to bend over ackwqrds to save Fawni.

Why? Because he is up for election in Fulton County in 3 months. The judge does not want the big bad Black election machine used against him.

MOre evidence would make that harder to do for the judge.

I hope I am wrong. But the additional evidence needs to be heard...an appeal court might send it back to hear that evidence.

The election is for a different position. He just started in this position.

I really like this judge...he's very open and he's not stupid. I see him as politically neutral for this case. After all, the end game is about Trump...not Fani. She's cooked...and they fact that she's already been reported to the Bar...and everyone knows Wade and Willie perjured themselves is drumming in the background.

I think you are wrong. The text messages alone are enough to do her in.

OTOH, the judge said he would rule in two weeks. Currently, he has no one running against him in the judicial election, and the time to get on the ballot will be over in ... two weeks.

Is Fani Willis, or perhaps Jeff DiSantis, clever enough to get some crony to enter the judicial race, and do whatever is needed to qualify, at this late hour? Maybe. But they would also have to gamble that so-doing would end any reservations the judge might have about dismissing them.

I have a feeling that McAfee might be thinking that no matter how he rules he will be voted out for even allowing the hearing in the first place.

I think that McAfee is on a fast track and if he's removed by the voters of Fulton County, Gov. Kemp will just appoint him to something else.

The big problem the leftists in places like Chicago, NYC, Fulton County, etc. are starting feel is their block voting constituencies are the primary victims of the progressive policies they have implemented. In other words, the “victim class” are starting to see the reason they are victims is their choice of leadership, which they can change through the vote.

“I hope I am wrong. But the additional evidence needs to be heard...an appeal court might send it back to hear that evidence.”

**************************************************************

All the evidence available, plus an investigation by the Attorney General is warranted, in order to determine if the DA has committed the crime of perjury. This case is way more serious now than just knowing when the affair started. This woman may need to go to prison, and that would require more than just a preponderance of evidence. An Attorney General investigation would have the power and ability of law enforcement to use forensic tools to investigate. Much more power to haul people in and interrogate than what a defense lawyer can do.

Also, defense attorneys whose clients are now sitting in a prison cell might just want to know how honest this DA is. Just for the sake of being absolutely certain...rather than some minimum 49-51 tilt of the scales needed to find an “appearance” of impropriety this hearing requires.

The judge has no opponent for his election bid and there is only a short time (~2 weeks) for someone to put their name in. Commentators have said that once the window to run against the judge has closed he will not be under pressure to cave on Fani to protect his May election.
