Residents of Maine are expressing their outrage over the state’s plans to spend $13 million on constructing apartment complexes for illegal border crossers where some could be afforded up to two years of free rent.
The apartment complex plan — derisively labeled the “Taj Mahal” for illegals — took a lot of heat from residents of Brunswick during a February 20 city council meeting. The locals were upset over the fact that the same apartments that cost citizens between $1,800 and $2,300 a month were going to be handed out to illegals for free.

The “democrat” party with no democracy or choices. When they say “our democracy” it means one party rule with all it corruption and tyranny.
Almost half of Americans pay no income tax. With child tax credits and EITC, many who claim to pay income tax actually don't. These folks don't care much about how the money is wasted, and just vote for free stuff.

Some expressed surprise and shock when a recent poll nudged the vote in Maine over to Trump over Biden. This is why surprise should not be at all an appropriate response.
Trump won Maine’s Second Congressional District....80% of the state....by 10 points in 2016 and by 9 points in 2020, earning himself one electoral vote in the process each time.
Brunswick is in the 1st district, which is heavily RAT.
However, President Trump is leading statewide by 6 points at the present.

Unfortunately a genetic trait of liberals is their inability to connect dots.
To them cause and effect is a foreign concept.

The majority of those getting mad, are the ones who probably are brethren, however, even Democrat supporting people are getting fed up because they too are being adversely affected.
