A massive human trafficking bust in Florida resulted in 228 arrests, including members of the U.S. military and a teacher, authorities said Tuesday.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said 150 suspects, or johns, were arrested along with 66 prostitutes and 12 others in the multi-agency operation dubbed "Operation March Sadness 2024." Among the suspects were a schoolteacher, coaches and active duty military members, among other professions.
Of the 228 individuals arrested, 21 were in the country illegally.
Authorities also identified at least 13 potential human trafficking victims. The sheriff noted that within one year of performing these types of operations, 58 human trafficking victims have been identified.

Florida sheriff: Military, teacher included in those apprehended in massive human trafficking bust
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is The Man.
He needs to replace the Fey Wray at the FIB and turn the place back into the FBI.

Broken link. This might be it too.”
Thanks for the help!
(I hate the new “sign in and give us your email” feature on Fox)
He obviously hates the military, the homophobic, transphobic racist./sarc
Did anyone find the missing 85,000 foreign born children lost in the US of A?
Actually it was the second link you posted, the one on archive.is. Didn’t work for me but YMMV.
Wow!!!
Grady Judd is great...
Drama. Arresting Johns is not a “human trafficking operation”. That is the people who import, move and pimp out women against their will.
A guy patronizing a prostitute is not a human trafficker.
DC and the media overhypes EVERYTHING these days. In Florida it looks like a misdemeanor for first offense. They could write you a ticket.
I don’t care about this crap anymore until we get Epstein’s list. The recent DC area Chinese prostitution ring list is also still hidden. Then a few years ago the infamous DC Madame had 15,000 clients. List is still secret. The Heidi Fleiss Hollywood Madame’s list is still secret. The Mayflower Madame’s list is still secret.
So if some sad sack blue collar schlub pays a woman, it should be just as ok. If you are in the right price range, the Johns are protected, not prosecuted, and not referred to as human traffickers.
That was hilarious when he was manhandling that biker outlaw jacket.
Whut
Judd's a good man...
First.... Neither you, nor I, nor the Sheriff knows whether these women were pimped out against their will prior to their arrest.
Second, these women being pimped out against their will are not going to go to the Sheriff and tell him.
So if we excuse frequenting prostitutes as a misdemeanor and busting them as a waste of time, how will law enforcement catch the human traffickers ?
Also, here’s a question for you or anyone on this thread:
If prostitution were legal, do you think there would still be human trafficking ?
Of course!
If they have, nobody is admitting it.
The last I heard a few days ago from what seemed was a good source is the actual number is presently closer to 500,000 now and has been undercounted for a long time.
