I know people here have mixed feelings about Galloway. In the previous general election in Rochale in east London, the Labour candidate got 51% and the Conservative candidate 30%. In this by election, the Conservative got 12%, Labour 8%, and Liberals 7%. An independent candidate who owns a repair shop came in 2nd with 20%.
