A Maryland Democrat has proposed increasing taxes to pay for reparations for black Americans. This comes as Democrats across the country have put forward efforts to start issuing reparations. Sen. Jill Carter, a Democrat from Baltimore City, sponsored the Maryland Reparations Act of 2024. According to Fox News, she is calling for a "certain amount of revenue from the State individual income tax and Maryland estate tax be distributed to the Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund."
The money will come from an "additional State individual income tax rate on the net capital gains of individuals” and will service low-income residents and "disproportionately impacted areas."

Yep. Picking what’s left on the corpse. I never thought I’d see the day that this level of decline and corruption would happen, and now the decent is so much more quickly. The devil smiles and rubs his hands....
The hard push now is to attempt to keep blacks on the democrat Plantation.
2) For reason #1 above, nobody owes reparations for slavery.
3) If #1 and #2 don't make sense, then at least get the reparations from an organization that literally fought a war to keep blacks in chains. That organization is called the Democrat Party.
I don't think anyone is owed anything.....

This will result in wealthy black people paying reparations to poor black people. They’ll just love that idea.
There can be no such thing as reparations because there is no one alive who was a slave. You can’t give reparations to those who were not slaves. Logical fallacy.

We’ve already handed out $20 to maybe $30 trillion in “reparations.” A lot of that went to poor whites, but probably half to poor blacks. What did we get for it? Lots of entitlement ghetto rats with nothing but “gimme, gimme, gimme” attitude and that being passed from generation to generation to generation.
My sister taught inner city kids (mostly black, but some poor Appalachian whites) in Baltimore. The kids would always say “When mama gets her paycheck this week, ima gunna get me new Nikes ana new iPhone ana new extensions.”
Guess what “payday” meant!
Silly you. We have 1,000 years yet to go on this.
