United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby has come under fire after a video surfaced of an interview he did touting his company’s diversity initiatives, which limited white employees while emphasizing more women and minorities in its workforce.
Kirby responded to a question about his “diversity targets” at the company, saying, “We have committed that 50% of the classes will be women or people of color.”

The few United flights I had before DEI was “policy” were terrible. No one has mentioned about the CEO’s proclivities:

I will never fly in a United flight after this. We all know at least one airline to avoid like the plague.
I have heard airline pilots talk about the new DEI pilots. Some of them, now retired, won’t get on a plane at all.
In the past week, United has had four major incidents involving its jets, the most recent being a hard landing followed by the jet running off of the runway at Houston’s airport. A wheel fell of of a jet on takeoff at SFO, a plane flying from Hawaii had an engine problem as did a plane flying to the west coast.
Fasteners are racist.

This DEI stuff is starting to get REAL now and will soon be taking down aircraft. Perhaps it’s time for corporate America to STAND UP to the government, rather than kissing up.
Has anyone or any group really sued because of this blatant discrimination? Something has to give. This isn’t right.
right now it is about $10k to learn to fly and get a pilots license, BUY A PLANE, $150K should be enough and fly yourself. Then get your instrument rating for $5k in your own plane as opposed to $10K in a rental. It may cost a little up front, but you will still be alive. I can fly my 172 from Los Angeles to Northeast Texas in 10 hours and land 3 miles from my daughters house, the airlines from burbank to Dallas is 2 1/2 hour flight then rent a car and take a 2 hour drive, not counting the time spent getting on and off the plane and waiting. about 10 hours
I wonder if that has anything to do with their planes falling apart and having various accidents.
