Rust trial: Video shows Baldwin use gun as 'pointing stick' Actor Alec Baldwin waved a gun around on the film set where a cinematographer was fatally shot, a court has heard.
In footage shown at the trial of the film's armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, Mr Baldwin is also seen telling her to reload the gun more quickly.
She denies involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence.
Mr Baldwin was holding the gun when it went off but has said he didn't pull the trigger. He has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

“There is a LOT of difference between a blank round and a live round..”
They weren’t using blanks at the time of the killing.
“Baldwin is also seen telling her to reload the gun more quickly.”
How slow could she be? How much time could that save in a movie production? Ten or 20 seconds?
He’s essentially telling her “To hell with safety — GO FAST”
“Baldwin is also seen telling her to reload the gun more quickly.”
If she is reloading the gun, how would a live round get mixed in? Didn’t previous stories say that the Baldwin was shooting the gun in the desert the day before and a live round from those shots was left in the gun when it was brought on the set.
The stories don’t add up.
“It has a safety built in so the firing pin won’t strike if the hammer is in the “down” position. All modern revolvers, single- or double-action, have the same safety feature.”
Totally different design. The Pietta is an 1873 replica.
Baldwin was also the boss, he was the producer.
So what were they using? If they were using no cartridges at all, then someone put a live round in the pistol intentionally. There is even more difference between a live round and no round at all..?
Yeah, losing Kim Basinger will tend do that to you.
Live rounds. Looks like a cast 200 grain out of a Lee mold.,,,
