WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Poland’s foreign minister says the presence of NATO forces “is not unthinkable” and that he appreciates the French president for not ruling out that idea.

Radek Sikorski made the observation during a discussion marking the 25th anniversary of Poland’s accession to NATO in the Polish parliament Friday, and the Foreign Ministry tweeted the comments later in English.

They reflect a larger European debate over how to help Ukraine as Russia has gained some momentum on the battlefield and Kyiv is running low on ammunition

“Poland’s foreign minister says the presence of NATO troops in Ukraine is ‘not unthinkable”

Perhaps the Polish Foreign Minister will think a bit harder after watching this video of an S-300 system being whacked. Does he REALLY want to go to war against Russia?

Europe has nuclear weapons, money, and armies. Let it fight Russia if it thinks it’s all that important.

With a little bit a luck it will go nuclear. That might slow down the barbarian invasions into England, France, and Germany.

Ukraine is not NATO. Russia has not attacked any NATO country.

If Poland wants to go in, fine, but do not drag the US into it.

This shows why NATO is a bad idea.

Putin has made it unequivocally clear, they would be immediately attacked. It might take a couple of weeks to escalate fully but Nuclear WWIII begins the day Polish or French troops deploy to Ukraine. The day they step across the border is the day you’d best get your family away from any WWIII target in this country.

I suspect that Putin will give the Europeans a few ‘love taps’ to get their attention, but if they don’t get the message, then the big firecrackers begin.

Maybe, but the morons in DC will react with a few larger love taps. Tit for tat to Armageddon. I read this book back in high school and was screaming from 3/1/22 forward to anyone who’d listen that Herman Kahn foresaw how this ends. God, how I hate to say I told you so on this. Herman Kahn’s book “On Escalation”.

“In this widely discussed and influential book, Herman Kahn probes the dynamics of escalation and demonstrates how the intensification of conflict can be depicted by means of a definite escalation ladder, ascent of which brings opponents closer to all-out war. At each rung of the ladder, before the climb proceeds, decisions must be made based on numerous choices. Some are clear and obvious, others obscure, but the options are always there. Thermonuclear annihilation, says Kahn, is unlikely to come through accident; but nations may elect to climb the ladder to extinction. The basic material for the book was developed in briefings delivered by Kahn to military and civilian experts and revised in the light of his findings of a trip to Vietnam in the 1960s. In On Escalation he states the facts squarely. He asks the reader to face unemotionally the terrors of a world fully capable of suicide and to consider carefully the alternatives to such a path. In the never-never land of nuclear warfare, where nuclear incredulity is pervasive and paralyzing to the imagination even for the professional analyst, salient details of possible scenarios for the outbreak of war, and even more for war fighting, are largely unexplored or even unnoticed. For scenarios in which war is terminated, the issues and possibilities of which are almost completely unstudied, the situation is even worse. Kahn’s discussion throws light on the terrain and gives the individual a sense of the range of possibilities and complexities involved and are useful.”

I suspect everyone here understands that, even if they choose to act dumb to try to further their political agenda (or their paymasters).

...and it was SO EASY. All we had to do was NOT try to corner Russia, but we let the Neocons do just that. Then, all Europe had to do was tell the US to F-Off and work with Russia to put an end to this Neocon project, but they chose to be our bitches instead. Finally, Europe could have declared NEUTRALITY in this war, and a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine would have been quickly signed.

As bad as things are, don’t downplay the significance of getting rid of the Butcher of Ukraine (Nuland), there is NO WAY that she would have left on her own, or have been canned, unless she had a MAJOR DISAGREEMENT with Administration policy, and that could only mean one thing - that Biden’s political people want to get the Ukraine War behind them before it becomes a real-time political issue in the autumn as they cannot control how it proceeds.

The take-out from that meeting in Germany that was hacked is that the Storm Shadow missile systems deployed in Ukraine by Britain are unlikely to be crewed by Ukrainians. But I guess there is degree of difference between “Advisors” and Tank Divisions or Air Sorties.

What if, neocon witch that she is, she still realized the current NATO plans, if followed, would bring about immediate WWIII? I still say she resigned because according to the Vacancies Act, after 210 days she had to be confirmed or resign her “acting” undersecretary position. She resigned 210 days after being placed in her position. I think she has just joined Barry behind the wizards curtain. But I and everyone else could be wrong. Perhaps she is relocating her family to her Arizona mountain top WWIII refuge.

She’s a specialist on color revolutions. One is planned here next November. Being out of government makes her communications our of reach of FOIA.
