Hollywood, so passe these days. They went from the golden age to the dump. I’d take a black and white 30’s - 40’s film over the car chase and body count stuff of today. I remain disappointed ever since “Idiocracy” never got an award for the best documentary.
We enjoy the new station on our system that only shows old Western shows. Good storytelling, plenty of action, great scenery - and no lefty political views or DEI shoved down our throats.
We especially like “Tales of Wells Fargo.”
I watched an early 1933 Barbara Stanwyck film titled 'Baby Face' last night on TCM. Not a great film, but very interesting, and the 26-year-old Stanwyck was gorgeous. Today's Hollywood has completely lost the art of film-making.
I thought they all moved to Canadia.

They let a lot of them burn last year. And didn't get a single "BTU's" benefit out of it. They got a lot of their Southern Neighbors upset, smoking them out for as long as they did.
