The House on Wednesday passed legislation that would ban TikTok if they do not sell the company from its Chinese parent company.
The House voted 352-61-1 H.R. 7521, Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act. The bill featured 15 Republicans against the bill, 50 Democrats against it, showing that there is strong bipartisan interest in curbing TikTok’s apparent national security threat.

First they came for Parler. I didn’t have an account so I didn’t say anything. Then they started kicking people off Facebook. I had already canceled my account so I didn’t say anything. Then they started banning YouTube channels. I don’t have a YouTube channel so I didn’t say anything.
Now they want to ban TikTok. I don’t have a TikTok account. But enough of this BS.
China should know that only federal government is allowed to spy on American citizens and promote horrible ideas
This bill is worded so broadly it could be used against ANY social media platform they choose to go after.
It’s a conditional law...means little until something else occurs.
I'd hope a conference committee cleans up the language and narrows it.

TikTok is an application that pushes forward the LGBT agenda and degenerated anti-civilization degenerescence. It poisons our youth with transgender ideas.
It cripples minds, and dumbs down an entire generation.
It’s an application from hell that contaminate s our society in a very serious way - its just as dangerous as Fentanyl.

I am shocked that TRUMP has made a FlipFlop and complete U-turn on this TikTok issue. He now supports TikTok. But when he was president he talked non-stop of banning it!! Why on earth has Trump pivoted on this highly moral issue for America. Is it to get young voters to vote for him? Well selling once soul for a few more votes is not worth it.
Trump, please stay the one you were. Don’t kneel for the Chinese, for more votes. It’s his first big mistake.

If the issue is National Security, I’d like to know to how a bunch of teenagers posting dumb $hit on videos poses a risk. We sure don’t seem worried about allowing Chinese Nationals into our research facilities, where the real risk would be.

Headline is intentionally misleading. They are not banning anything just requiring them to sell the company to the highest US bidder.
The Chi-Coms will make a bundle and the platform will still be around. I bet META buys it and it becomes even more left wing than it is now.
