It looks like a perfect way to shut down the House completely. It only takes one member to make a motion to vacate and all House work must stop and a vote be taken. A House filibuster.

The Motion to Vacate nonsense is a formula for anarchy and disorder. It was a dumb compromise move by McCarthy to win what turned out to be a worthless prize.

After the congressional Republicans ongoing fiasco pretending to lead the House and outright collaboration with the fascist Democrats in the Senate I don’t think Speaker Johnson has to worry about the words GOP Speaker being a problem next year. They suck!!!
