IQ is to a significant extent a measure of education and what you’ve been exposed to in life. I know it’s supposed to be an independent measure of native intelligence, but that’s a big stretch. Also, IQ and violence are not obligatory fellow travelers. That said, the kinds of social factors and environments that promote the violent behavior are also not conducive to education or learning how to think.

I agree with everything you said.

"...the kinds of social factors and environments that promote the violent behavior are also not conducive to education or learning how to think."

Think Muzzies.

“what you’ve been exposed to in life”

You are simply wrong, and spouting the DEI mantra.

Genetics has a bigger impact on IQ than any local upbringing.

Smart parents have mostly smart kids.
Dumb parents have mostly dumb kids.
There are always the 10% exceptions, just like with other genetic anomalies.

It’s also socially and economically self selecting. Good neighborhoods, good schools, generational wealth, etc . . .

But you already knew that, didn’t you?
