This case is going nowhere.

This may work out better in the long run.
It fundamentally doesn’t make sense. Why does he have to leave the case if this doesn’t give the appearance of a conflict? If he has to leave the case then that suggest not doing so would have the appearance of a conflict but he’s already been on the case! Noe he’ll get re-elected and that’s all he wants.
That is absolutely outrageous.

She can stay but Wade has to go. A win, win in her book. She gets rid of the incompetent boyfriend who is more proficient at grifting a paycheck than he is at drafting pleadings which have been quashed for insufficiency while she gets more face time with her political prosecution.
