Moderator, could you please edit the title to remove the words after “food?” Thanks.

When I was in France, 1969, I found the food to be rather repulsive. The long loaf French bread however was wonderful (1 French Frank per loaf). The vine very affordable. At the Univ. At Univ. Of Grenoble cafeteria, several times per month the main entre would be beef tongue. Just an 8 inch long cow’s tongue. Bread and vine great. Food horrible.

I've spent a little time in France (in the 60's). After some unsavory experimentation, I settled on sandwich le jambon-fromage as something I could eat, like, and know what's in it.

They could do with an In-n-out, just sayin.

cause it’s delish? Plus they walk everywhere, so they burn it off easier. and the smoking!
leave people to eat what they want as long as they don’t make you eat it.

Despite its reputation for gastronomy, France has become an American fast-food mecca.

I lived in Italy for nine years. One of the most popular restaurants in my nearest big city was a sushi place, it was almost impossible to get ib on a Friday ir Saturday night, proving that even Italians need a break from pasta and pizza. I suppose the French need a break from quiche and souffles occasionally too.

Now Europeans are getting fat eating the Standard American Diet (SAD). I see KFCs everywhere I go in Europe.

The French would really love Big Kahuna Burger. Way better than a Royale with Cheese.
