:: shudder :: I hate liver. Dad used to love liver and onions and we always seemed to have liver when I was in trouble. :: sigh ::
When my mom was mad at my dad, she’d make breaded, fried Spam, because he hated it. I hated it, too.
I definitely take more after my dad, which I hear a lot.
I eat a lot less than a lot of people, and my job requires I be remarkably active for what I do, and I don’t often take a break (I’m paid either way). I’d rather get work done. I usually eat one meal a day and fast for 10-14 hours, which is partially because I’m awake from mid-afternoon through the wee morning hours. I’m much smaller than my mother was at my age, but I also haven’t had children. Sadly, not a possibility.
There are many factors, including hormone levels, diet, family history, sex (obviously, men historically have less body fat than women), physical activity, alcohol consumption (how much, type, how often), underlying health conditions (hyper/hypothyroidism, renal failure, etc.), and where you live. If you are in a city and of middle or lower income, you’re probably only eating junk because it’s so expensive to eat healthily.
Popeye’s will make a killing, though. I prefer their chicken over even Brown’s, hands-down.
