It’s so nice to see the RNC starting to do what DeSantis said would be done if he was the nominee. But then again DeSantis didn’t support Ronna McRomneybush, but instead supported Harmeet Dillon who would have likely torched the RNC and gone full scale offense on the Dims long before now. So much time, money and opportunity wasted. I guess Ronna was loyal so she’s to be forgiven.

Al Cardenas is a Jeb Bush loyalist from Miami who was summarily installed as Florida GOP state chairman after Jeb’s election as Florida governor in 1996. Cardenas ousted most of the Florida GOP staff and installed personal hangers-on in their place. On the whole, Cardenas was not a particularly good Florida GOP chairman, nor did he do a good job later as American Conservative Union chairman.

The GOP hierarchy is replete with self-serving a-holes that have no problem selling out the constituency especially at the local level. Ironically, Republicans have worse “representation” within the GOP than the Rats have in their party.
