Former President Trump sued ABC News and George Stephanopoulos on Monday, alleging defamation over the anchor’s questioning of Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) about her endorsement of Trump.
The March 10 interview on “This Week” made headlines after Mace, a rape survivor, accused Stephanopoulos of trying to “shame” her by probing why she endorsed the former president despite juries’ recent verdicts against him in advice columnist E. Jean Carroll’s sexual battery and defamation lawsuits.
Trump’s lawsuit takes aim at how Stephanopoulos at multiple points in his questioning said Trump had been found “liable for rape.” The jury had found Trump liable for sexual abuse under New York law, but not rape.

New York Times v Sullivan was wrongly decided. Even so I think he has them dead to rights on this one. My recollection is that the first jury specifically found he did not commit rape
When Donald Trump wins the presidential election in 2024 the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS should be granted zero press access to the White House.

They are probably suing in NY since that is where ABC is located. They should pull one out of the Dems book. Just as one of Trump’s cases is being tried in DC because the network he made his comments on is available in DC, they should try it in Texas because ABC is available in Texas and he was harmed in Texas as a result

File the suit in Alabama or Oklahoma.
