Highland Park is a beautiful place and I used to take walks through it twice a week during my lunch hour. This is bizarre with the body found in the Highland Reservoir. The water for both the Highland and Cobbs Hill Reservoirs is fed it by gravity from Hemlock Lake, one of the Finger Lakes.
I agree with you AbolishCSEU that Rochester is a dumpster fire and there’s so many neighborhoods that is not safe to venture through. I blame years of incompetency and corruption in Rochester city government and New York State laws that favor the criminals such as the so-called “bail reform” that plays catch and release with criminals. I moved away from Rochester after my wife died and I retired and now live in Colorado Springs, that has its fair amount of problems as well, but is much better off than Rochester.
We live between Rochester and Syracuse. Problems escalated with the first affirmative action hire as Mayor. Mayor “Grady” Johnson.
