A suspected squatter who allegedly took over a $1 million Queens home is now subletting space in the house, one of the illegal sub-squatters told The Post on Wednesday.
Kevin Ballasty said he was conned into paying $1,500 a month to live in the basement of the Flushing home, with the deal made with “Jay,” who he identified as the squatter first exposed by WABC-TV.
Ballasty said he brokered the deal through a “realtor” he identified as David Dubon.

I think the actual owner of the home was arrested for changing the locks on the “landlord squatter”. Unless that wire would be used to tie up the owner, the law won’t allow its use.
How long has this squatter been living there ?

It seems to me a competent political party could use the fact that the RAT party has enabled squatters without any documentation to steal your home and punish you for attempting to recover it. Ownership of property is a fundamental right in the US and the RAT party is destroying it. Another example of Biden favoring criminals and invaders over law abiding citizens. If only an opposition political party existed to make this widely known.

Laws should allow armed landowner removal of squatters. Okay, that won’t work in New York as they can’t barely have firearms. Doubly screwed.

There are a lot of squatters who are innocent people who legitimately thought they were signing a valid lease agreement. They paid out deposits and rents only to learn the the "landlord" was himself a squatter who broke into an empty home, changed the locks, and printed up bogus leases for tenants to sign.
The irony is they will soon allow illegals to have guns but not Americans. Ironic twist.
