Biteme Biteme
Crime Boss Joey and his Occupy White House gang will be a distant memory by then and so will his anti-American “edicts”.
And welcome to Cuba
I plan to be driving my ICE V8 2018 Tundra in 2030. Come and take it!!
Looks like drivers are back to 1979 when we were all making plans on how to make home made fuel after the Arab Oil Embargo began and gas prices sky rocketed, and it was said we would no longer have gas as fuel. Buying another auto was a cause for stress as we were told there would be no more fuel available in just a few years.

Hell you don’t have to go to France for that
They are doing it in California in regards to off-road diesel engines.
California also won’t register older non def commercial trucks.
They don’t have to.
They just have to say no when you go to renew the registration
Should have gotten a jeep with a 6 speed stick. Those 8 speeds are not a good transmission. We’ve towed plenty of them for electrical malfunctions.
Anyone worth can get access to the Diagnostic software used by the dealers and businesses can pay for dealer level access for most of them. Modern cars aren’t that difficult to deal with. All this means is as usual, costs get passed to consumers because diagnosing a car costs more if you need the software. Still cheaper then a dealer diagnostic fee though.
I own a decent sized mechanic shop and a separate tow business, fwiw.
I’ll probably be gone by then
Yes. That is the tactic they will use against private automobiles to force them off the road.

Exactly!
Then the Department of Education and the ATF.
I think I’ll watch all the “Mad Max” movies again, looking for tips to use when these rules take effect.

My wife and I own a 21 year old Lexus which is in great shape.
