The Daily Wire and controversial right-wing commentator Candace Owens parted ways on Friday, according to CEO Jeremy Boreing.
“Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship,” announced Boreing on X.
Owens’s departure comes after months of tensions between her and Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro over her promotion of various anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
After the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel and outbreak of war in the Gaza Strip, Owens quickly emerged as a critic of Israel’s military operations, promoting falsehoods about supposed religious segregation in Jerusalem and all but accusing Israel of genocide.
In the months since, Owens has lashed out against “political Jews” and theorized about a “small ring” of “sinister” Jews exerting influence in Hollywood and Washington, D.C..
Most recently, she liked a tweet promoting the blood libel that Jews drink Christian blood as part of certain religious ceremonies, as Mediaite reported on Monday.
In November, Boreing had insisted that Owens was “paid to give her opinion,” and that until her opinion violated the law or the terms of her contract, she would be “welcome at Daily Wire.”
But that defense of Owens came before any of her more recent and more brazen comments.
Amidst renewed attention on her anti-Semitic comments this week, Owens has doubled down. After the Anti-Defamation League noted that infamous white supremacist Nick Fuentes had been praising Owens for her rhetoric, Owens said she was “grateful” that the organization had “turned their smear merchant guns on me.
“The world already knows my heart. Their attacks will have the opposite desired effect. Awaken world,” she wrote on X.
Owens responded to her departure on X shortly after Boreing’s announcement by declaring that she was “finally free” and soliciting donations.

I don’t know whether the French First Lady is a lady but Candace’s piece was credible and informative. The Macron story is bizarre and there clearly is an official effort afoot to dissuade scrutiny.
I don’t think such a preposterous idea can be ‘reasonable’; and her delivery in the segment was downright ‘high school mean girl’ - which I’ve seen her display regarding other women before. She strikes me as a loopy, envious woman who had one or two tricks up her sleeve and then ran out of tricks.

Yes. And if she had accidentally liked the tweet, she could have explained that in a second. It’s obvious between that and some of the other things where her mind is at.

Blacks make up 13% of the overall population but are incredibly over-represented in the ranks of professional sports.

Blacks don’t control sports they are just participants whereas Jews dominate certain industries. Look at the people who OWN sports teams, they are nearly all Jewish. I don’t think anyone cares that they own sports teams, it’s when they own politicians (via AIPAC and the like) that it becomes an issue. What’s in America’s interest may not always be in Israel’s interest and that will soon become a point of contention between various parties including among those on the Right.
Currently the whole world is aghast at Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of women and children and the US with its support of Israel is now complicit in these actions. Is the US going to sabotage its relationships with the strategically important Islamic oil producing countries in favor of Israel? The Saudis by themselves could trash the US dollar just by dumping the US Treasuries they hold. Our support for Israel should extend only so far as it doesn’t hurt our own interests and we are coming to that point now.
Owens 15 Minutes of Fame is just about over.
Every time she’s opened her mouth about Israel, her antisemitism bursts out. It’s so bad that even the American Enterprise Institute has openly and repeatedly called her out and said her remarks undermine conservatism.
I think it more likely the Daily Wire takes a hit in viewership similar to how Fox took a hit when Tucker left. She’s America first like Tucker so it’s no surprise she would eventually butt heads with Shapiro and the rest of the Israel first gang.
She is a grifter. She was a Leftist who turned to Conservatism because the Leftists did not give her any money.
Give me proof. Otherwise it is just gossip and personal opinion.
Thing is, she doesn’t look bad. The Rabbi did.
I have long thought that Candace Owens not real. Somethings wrong there and I don’t trust her. I wouldn’t want to ruin my establishment.

I believe one of our local radio stations carries the Ben Shapiro broadcast. If I have that station on when Shapiro comes on, I immediately switch the channel. I can’t stand his whiny voice. Other than that, I don’t know much about him.
I don’t really keep up with Owens either, so I don’t have a favorite in this catfight.

Israel is surrounded by nations that want to destroy Israel. Israel can’t afford to let their guard down.
Israel was a larger area than it is now.. they traded land for a sort of peace that hasn’t happened yet. but the area is so very small compared to how much surround them.
I don’t trust any media here, doing any fair reporting of Israel. I know the Ishmaels want the land and the Jews gone.. and I know the bible says Jesus is coming back there. I know there are different opinions on so much of this... and an unending war continues.
