I agree, and also wouldn’t question that it sounded like modern rock, but I couldn’t listen to it more than 45 seconds! To me, it sounded very “canned”, and not to my liking, but I have little appreciation for any “rock” tunes (with a few exceptions) that came after the mid 70’s to early 80’s.
I may take a look into it, but am very skeptical.
