Donald Trump Jr. is lobbying his father to select a running mate who can take a punch — and hit back even harder, he told The Post.
“What I want in that role is I want a fighter,” Trump Jr. said. “I understand what they are going to throw at us.
“In 2016 you needed someone to balance out [the ticket] — that’s where Mike Pence made sense, sort of the yin and yang, but [given] the vicious nature of the swamp and the insanity we see on a daily basis, you need someone who can take those hits,” said Trump Jr., 46, the oldest of the former president’s five children.

Like that expression. If Trump wins, he should institute a Javier Milei program of ripping out Federal departments and agencies root & branch. Thirty-five percent reduction in government year 1, an additional 25% in year 2, exclusive of uniformed military, which should be at least doubled.
Flynn would cost votes. You need a VP candidate who brings votes with them. That’s why I firmly believe Pence was Ryan’s deal for backing Trump. Pence brought nothing with him to the ticket. We do not need anyone from Texas, or Florida, the GOP will do okay in those States. Same with places like California or Colorado, you cannot swing those states with a VP pick, unless it is Taylor Swift. You need someone who can bring a swing State with them. AZ, NV, PA, MI or WI. I despise the GOP and am happy my district is a GOP lock so I do not have to vote for the POS in Congress.

Agreed, if Trump gets back into the White House, he needs to keep 100% of the family away. He’s wobbly on many issues and too many times in the past it became apparent in reports that he tilted toward his family’s counseling, e.g., illegal immigration.

Yeah, I agree with with that one.. There are a lot pretty boys out there, but what's needed is someone who can do the job and not look like a deer caught in the headlights.. Someone with a good set of teeth....someone who bites back, if you know what I mean.
Priority #1: Meets NBC requirements (via 12th Amendment). Must meet all qualifications to be POTUS. No anchor babies, who are by definition NOT Natural Born Citizens.
