Donald Trump Jr. is lobbying his father to select a running mate who can take a punch — and hit back even harder, he told The Post.
“What I want in that role is I want a fighter,” Trump Jr. said. “I understand what they are going to throw at us.
“In 2016 you needed someone to balance out [the ticket] — that’s where Mike Pence made sense, sort of the yin and yang, but [given] the vicious nature of the swamp and the insanity we see on a daily basis, you need someone who can take those hits,” said Trump Jr., 46, the oldest of the former president’s five children.

I think none-of-the-above. Ramaswammy doesn’t add anything but a rude jerk. Tucker is media, not political, a non-starter. Lake is flailing. Noem got new teeth but has embarrassed herself. Rubio, seriously? Might was well suggest hated Cruz. Nope, I think Trump will pick an outsider—Tulsi Gabbard. Yep, like Trump, a former Democrat, a moderate. She a woman, of color, a veteran. Her views match Trump closer than any other potential VP. Anyway, as of today that’s my best guess.

All would be good but what Trump needs in order to win is simple. Republicans, even those that have to hold their nose to vote, to vote for him. If that occurs we win.
For VP the only one I like is JD Vance. He also checks that diversity box. As an aside I’d prefer a female as it would bring more women to vote for the ticket. Kristi Noem, Kari Lake or Tulsi Gabbard, are my choices but really I think Noem is best suited for the job.

My fear is that the RINOs plan to have enough resign to toss control to the dems before the election. They will then declare Trump participated in an insurrection and bar him from being elected.

I didn't say Tucker Carlson was owned. I said he wants to be liked in the same way Newt Gingrich does. A person who cares what people think of him is an automatic capitulator.
Choose someone who wants to defend western culture. No stinky Hindus please. Also, would be nice if in his second term Trump placed a total ban on non western immigration.
Any of those 3 would be a good choice. Trump needs to pick real allies who will support his policies, no more swamp people like Pompeo or Pence.
