As they vet candidates for a potential third-party presidential ticket, No Labels is reaching out to former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

A source in the two-time Republican presidential candidate's political orbit told Fox News on Thursday that the centrist group has made outreach to Christie in recent days.

Christie, who ended his 2024 GOP nomination campaign in mid-January, appeared to leave the door open to a possible third party run in an interview with former Obama adviser David Axelrod that was released earlier in the day.

Asked on Axelrod's popular podcast if he's considering a third-party presidential bid, Christie said "I think the way I would look at it is, I will do whatever I can to try to make sure that the country doesn’t go through what I think will be the misery of a second Trump term."

I know I am getting on in years, but my memory tells me things were pretty good with Trump. No wars, secure border, low inflation, low unemployment...ya know, small things like that.

I know a guy who grew up with Christy. He told me that Christy was a “hanger” – a guy who tried to hang around with the big boys, but they wouldn’t let him. Not much seems to have changed,

BTW, I was born and raised in NJ, but escaped over 15 years ago.

The amount of $$$ one can earn, steal and grift from running for office is insane. The limousines and penthouse hotel suites aren’t bad either. (Note to self: Has AL Sharpton ever paid for all of the services he used?)

People around the ‘candidate’ form PACs and nonprofits to rake in $$millions$$. Mrs Bernie Sanders is a millionaire all by herself. It also seems that every time Bernie Sanders drops out of the race, he gets another house. The last one (4th house) is a lake house!

The so-called campaign managers also rake in the $$$. What is most amusing are the so-called campaign manager ‘experts’ who, while they haven’t won diddly squat in any real campaign, end up on CNN, MSLSD, etc as the wise sage of how to win. They were some of the most loud, shouting in 2015 and 2016 that it was impossible for Candidate Trump to win the nomination. After it was obvious that Candidate Trump was the nominee, those same ‘wise men’ shouted from the rooftops that Billary would win by a huuuuge margin.

Wrong again.

Every few months or so, I watch the 30 minute The Young Turks 2016 Election Night Meltdown. The NY Times goes from 90% Absolutely, Positively Billary is the next President....to 70%...60%....Oh, Well.

“I would love to have Christie take the TDS voters away from Biden.”

Yeah, I think he’d draw some votes from each candidate — but more from Biden.

No Labels has said they’d have a “bipartisan” ticket. If they put Christie (who’s nominally a Republican) at the top, they’ll find a Democrat to run for VP. That’s another reason the ticket would hurt Biden more than Trump.

That’s terrifying. He was almost up into the single digits during the early primaries.
