I agree with you. The Boomers grew up in an environment that was very, very patriotic. The Gen X,Y, and Z, just the opposite.

We have to work with that going forward.

We have to bring them along, not bash them. Deep down, they are looking for such advice. They want to understand reality as much as we older people do.

But my point is that American intergenerational war is an op of the CCP and the Comintern. We have to thwart it.
