Former Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel has come out against former President Trump’s promise to free the January 6 prisoners. McDaniel voiced her opposition during a Sunday interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” — the network where she is now a paid contributor.
“I want to be very clear. The violence that happened on January 6 is unacceptable. It doesn’t represent our country. It certainly does not represent my party,” McDaniel told interviewer and co-worker Kristen Welker.
“If you attacked our Capitol and you have been abused and you’ve been convicted, then that should stay,” McDaniel continued.
McDaniel said she only spoke out now because she didn’t want to disagree with Trump while leading the RNC.

January 6 was not an insurrection. That said, the people climbing the walls, breaking into offices, stealing things, belong charged, convicted, and jailed. The rest, those "welcomed" in, law abiding, no, give them a pass at suddenly being at the wrong place, at the wrong time. And the other 99% of the people on the mall were by all accounts, law abiding as well. This whole insurrection meme needs to end.
There should at least be a rule on FR like the one for CZJ whenever Ronna McRomneys name is mentioned.
I wonder, does she support this despite it being worse than Jan.6th?? Attacking cops, firebombing cars, destroying property, attempting to stop the inauguration of a duly elected POTUS? ALL CHARGES DROPPED FOR ALL INVOLVED!
