Marco Rubio Stuns ABC’s Jonathan Karl and Leaves Him Stuttering Like a Fool After Eviscerating Joe Biden’s Policy Failures While Also Defending President Trump (VIDEO)

Left-wing ABC News host Jonathan Karl found himself completely humiliated Sunday morning by a fully prepared Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) after his ambush questions on President Trump completely backfired.

During an interview on ABC’s This Week, Karl attempted to pressure Rubio into saying negative things about Trump throughout the interrogation. He started by asking about reports regarding Rubio being under consideration as Trump’s running mate and said he was surprised the Florida senator was open to the possibility.

Rubio calmly responded that anyone should be honored when presented with an opportunity to serve America, and being VP is one way to do this. He also pointed out that he has yet to talk to Trump, and Trump has plenty of great options for the VP position.

Karl then brought up January 6 and again attempted to portray serving as VP under Trump as a fool’s errand. But Rubio turned the tables with a brilliant defense of Trump’s accomplishments and destroyed Joe Biden’s failures, particularly on foreign policy.

Trump knows not to select Marco. He knows he’s not an Article 2 Section 1 natural born Citizen. Neither of Rubio’s parents was a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth in 1971.

"My definition of a natural born Citizen is a PURE WHITE AMERICAN BORN OF TWO WHITE UNITED STATES CITIZEN PARENTS." - Macho MAGA Man, 1/6/2024 https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4208296/posts

----------------------------------------------

Here’s some information to shed light on what you stated from another thread where these issues were discussed:

If the Framers did not intend for the phrase they put into the Constitution - Natural Born Citizen - to mean what it meant at the time they wrote it, they would have written out a definition into the Constitution to redefine it. Since they did not, we can only assume it meant what the phrase meant when they wrote it out - the English common law definition - those born within the borders of the realm are naturally born citizens. There are a number of court cases where it is defined in this manner with regard to those born with far looser connections to the United States than Marco Rubio, Chester Arthur, (or Kamala Harris). The first case where it seems this was dealt with by a court was Lynch vs. Clarke in New York over a dispute with who could inherit property - there was a law on the books stating that only a “U.S. Citizen” could inherit property, and the presiding judge (apparently in this court the judge was called a “Vice Chancellor”) made this declaration: “Suppose a person should be elected president who was native born, but of alien parents; could there be any reasonable doubt that he was eligible under the Constitution? I think not. The position would be decisive in his favor, that by the rule of the common law, in force when the Constitution was adopted, he is a citizen...Upon principle, therefore, I can entertain no doubt, but that by the law of the United States, every person born within the dominions and allegiance of the United States, whatever the situation of his parents, is a natural born citizen. It is surprising that there has been no judicial decision upon this question.” In another case decided by the U.S. Supreme Court over the citizenship of a person born who was born to Chinese parents (it was illegal at that time for Chinese immigrants to become U.S. Citizens) it was declared that he was a natural born citizen by virtue of having been born in the United States, and Justice Field, who wrote the opinion, actually referenced the Lynch v. Clarke decision in the ruling of the Court: “After an exhaustive examination of the law, the Vice-Chancellor said that he entertained no doubt that every person born within the dominions and allegiance of the United States, whatever the situation of his parents, was a natural-born citizen, and added that this was the general understanding of the legal profession, and the universal impression of the public mind.” This case was In re Look Tin Sing. Another U.S. Supreme Court case was United States v. Wong Kim Ark https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/169/649 dealing with the same issue of a child born to Chinese parents made the same ruling and also declared him to be a natural born citizen in the ruling by virtue of his right to citizenship by birth. All of those cases were in the 1800s.

There was a U.S. Supreme Court case in 1939 with the title Perkins v. Elg http://caselaw.findlaw.com/us-supreme-court/307/325.html which dealt with the issue of a woman who was born in the U.S. to Swedish citizens who returned to Sweden with her when she was four years old. Her father was naturalized prior to this as a U.S. Citizen and held dual citizenship. She then came back to the U.S. and was admitted entry as a citizen at the age of 21. For whatever reason, her father later did away with his U.S. Citizenship status and the equivalent of the INS at the time declared she was to be deported. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled against this, finding she was a natural born U.S. Citizen by right of birth and even declared she was eligible to be President of the United States in the ruling. A past President, Chester Arthur, was born with an Irish father who was not yet naturalized as a U.S. Citizen, though his mother was born in Vermont where Arthur himself was born.

Detractors like to ignore all of information and court cases and instead rely totally on a case Minor v. Happersett - seeming to deliberately misquote the ruling - indeed, the justices specifically stated they were not making a finding of every scenario that constitutes a natural born citizen in their ruling: “The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their [p168] parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. ***For the purposes of this case it is not necessary to solve these doubts.***” Minor v. Happersett - full text of ruling https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/88/162

It is, however, accurate to say you can't select a VP from the same state or you forfeit those Electoral votes...and forfeiting even 1 electoral vote, let alone 30, is not a winning strategy.

The separation of ethnic groups is dividing Americans. Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Whites, and all that crap. Damnit we are Americans, the assholes crossing our borders aren’t and they are killing us and our kids. Start voting for America and get off the ethnic 💩.

Rubio is in the Gang of Eight-— remember. He’s Vice Chair of The Senate Intel committee opposite the current majority Chair of that Committee, the absolute moron Warner. As a refresher of what this means in the REAL world- intel level they are cleared for and at the same time sworn to restricted use of such knowledge (example of Leaky Sen. Leahy years ago- banned forever from any part of this group because he can’t shut the f up, and now of course is senile, and leaving iirc). It isn’t a high a clearance as the demented current Present-dent and his National Security staffers of implanted clowns in action agents in place for the apparat bureaus of national intel (fibbies, and clowns in action, DOJ Nat Sec. Division, DOD intel.. etc.)- but it is profoundly higher information level than ANY mainstream joker like Jonathan Karl.

ABC likes to think it’s in the know (and it is from what is wanted to be leaked to them by demo managing morons of these eight and junior staff members). Here’s the Gang, currently:

United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence:
Mike Turner (R-OH), Chair
Jim Himes (D-CT), Ranking Member
United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence:
Mark Warner (D-VA), Chair
Marco Rubio (R-FL), Vice Chair
Leadership in the United States House of Representatives:
Mike Johnson (R-LA), Speaker
Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Minority Leader
Leadership in the United States Senate:
Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Majority Leader
Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Minority Leader

Karl recently mentioned that “Trump said he will be a dictator starting on day one.”

President Trump never said that at all.

Liar POS Jonathan Karl.

Trump said he won’t be a dictator “except on day one”. He elaborated that he’ll close the border and open oil drilling. It was in response to a question from Sean Hannity about “retribution”.

I saw that Hannity interview.

Hannity should not have asked that absurd question, and President Trump could have answered it better, but Karl completely mis-represented what President Trump said.

The quickness and specificity with which Rubio came back at Karl’s nonsensical pandering to Biden is impressive.

The lickspittle MSM is becoming unglued at the thought their collusion with this idiot President. They cannot understand why it isn’t working.

No doubt Marco is one of Mitch’s boys. That is why ABC thought it was safe to have him on. i’m just saying there is still some good in him as ABC found out.

What these guys are realizing is that there is no future for anti-Trumpers in the GOP. They noticed a majority of Republican voters completely ignored the other candidates and their debates and just voted Trump. There is just too much unfinished business.

Wake me when a court throws a US-born POTUS/VPOTUS candidate off of a ballot. Any ballot. Any court. Ever.

“NBC” is a knitting circle that meets every four years to trade cut-and-paste wish-castings.

Hardly— Mitch? you have not been paying attention to Rubio’s actions on Senate Intel, as the Repubs there do not “work” for slobbering boob mitch.

ABC has no sense of what is going on- clearly. Rubio was a star of the FL Legislature, and is a conservative in domestic issues particularly illegal immigration a subject dear to the millions of Cuban Americans who have gone through official Naturalization— really pissed about this wave of absolute nobodies and no skills likely Communists. That is only part of what ABC doesn’t get. Rubio will be chair if the Senate disappears from Schumer et al.
