I thought that Google were the Feds?
“So, what does this mean for you? I guess as we already know, anything you view online can be subpoenaed by the government. Even if what you are viewing has nothing to do with illegal activities, you may be considered “part of an investigation” merely by association with another content creator or contributor.”

Well good grief - just because you come across a video doesn’t even mean you believe or support what was in it. Heck, you could leave a computer on to go to the bathroom if you YouTube up and it autoplays a video it selects itself you never even knew played.
Good! I watch Russian metal detectorists on YouTube who go to WWII sites within Russia, and dig for relics. They’ve also recovered parts of downed planes, and have even repatriated German and Russian soldiers and pilots. It’s amazing the stuff they find. Depending on the environment of the soil and water, some of the items they find look like they were made yesterday. That ought to send the Feds in a tizzy.
Personally, I suspect that google and the Fed and AI tools from both have
teamed together to remove narrative resistant free speakers from the national discussion.
Youtube has been even more weird than normal lately, with lots of people wondering why they’ve just been removed.
Facebook, too. Meanwhile, Musk mentioned some time ago, that the Feds had backdoor code in Twitter.
Well, there goes the competition.
What if you watched the video because Google suggested it to you?
I wonder how many Feds are on this board monitoring our posts?
They have the most extensive surveillance system in the world. Every keyword they are on the lookout for is logged. They probably have a file for every user here.
1984 on steroids...
I watch videos that give the truth about the Ukraine War (otherwise I might take the Zeepers seriously), should I be worried?
Soon they’ll come for those troublemakers who watch gardening videos.
The feds will have a field day with my searches. I love hard crossword puzzles and never look at the solutions. I duck-duck and research the topic instead of cheating. You’d be surprised what rabbit holes you go down looking for obscure trivial facts. It’s also quite educational.

The SS is back. Cool.
Speaking of Google and YouTube, for anyone who didn’t know this: If you use a Super Chat to send any Tuber money, Google gets 30% of your donation.
Just an FYI.
There are YouTubers whose work I really value, but I won’t donate using a method that gives Google a 30% cut.

I checked YouTube today and found out you now need a Google account to sign in.
