The $464 million judgment “still stands” against former President Donald Trump, a spokesperson from New York Attorney General Letitia James’s office responded to Monday’s court ruling.
The five-panel New York appeals court ruled Trump could post a bond “in the amount of $175 million” to cover the judgment. The court also delayed enforcement of the $464 million judgment by ten days.
“The $464 million judgment — plus interest — against Donald Trump and the other defendants still stands,” the spokesperson said.

She's not wrong. The full judgement has been deferred until all appeals have been exhausted, but they still stand legally.
Hopefully the entire thing gets tossed on appeal, and then we can all crow at Letitia.

If Biden can ignore Supreme Court rulings (about student loan forgiveness), I guess Letitia can ignore what an appeals court says.
Actually it is “on appeal” and does not “stand” and is not “final” until all appeals are exhausted.
Trump has a good chance of success on the merits (why the court relaxed the bond and stayed execution and collection).
He also has the 8th amendment prohibition against unreasonable fines, and 7th amendment right to a jury trial, and other unalienable rights such as Due Process and Equal Protection. No Bills of Attainder, No Ex Post Facto laws, etc.
Letitia deserves a new title: DESPICABLE JAMES! She deserves to be rode out of the state covered in tar and feathers. The judiciary system and every lawyer in the state should be riding this witch hard for making a mockery of the Constitution.
