Yeah, I finally found out, thanks. Apparently I was watching the bridge too much, because after seeing it again, I see the bridge collapsed almost immediately. The strange thing is that it appeared that the boat turned right into the bridge support structure.

Probably because the ship’s captain threw the one propeller it has into extreme reverse. Reversing a ship like this makes it unstable, twisting and turning.

Above commentator says it would have been better to just use the rudder to steer the powerless ship as best the captain could. To at least dodge the bridge supporting pylons. (But perhaps the rudder was out too along with the ships power)
