Well if climate change is causing the huge Gulf Stream to slow down plunging England into an Ice Age, it can surely change the direction of smaller currents in harbors like this increasing the risk of these types of events

According to Experts or something.

Rising sea levels caused the ship to hit the bridge. If we had the same sea level as 14,000 years ago, the ship would have been stuck in the mud at its dock and never would have gotten to the bridge. So climate change did in a way play a part (sarc).
