On Monday’s edition of NBC’s “MTP Now,” Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL) said that the only way to have success against Hamas is through diplomacy and “Hamas is much more than a military organization, it’s a movement. And the manner in which Israel has conducted this war is a recruiting tool for Hamas. So, they’re really not accomplishing what they want to do if the destruction occurs at the level it has so far. They need to be much more surgical and tactical.”
Quigley stated, “[A]ny success there is going to be done diplomatically. So, those efforts to get a ceasefire for, if only six weeks, to provide humanitarian aid and build on the possibility of a long-term peace deal with those insurance guarantees for Israel coming from the nearby Arab countries. That’s really the long-term solution here. Let me just say this, it’s also the smart thing to do, because, in the final analysis, Hamas is much more than a military organization, it’s a movement. And the manner in which Israel has conducted this war is a recruiting tool for Hamas. So, they’re really not accomplishing what they want to do if the destruction occurs at the level it has so far. They need to be much more surgical and tactical.”

It certainly worked against Hitler.
“ the only way to have success against Hamas is through diplomacy”
I can think of another way.
Our own version of Neville Chamberlain. Peace in our time.

...until they go to war against us.
I wonder what part of “death to all Jews” is hard for him to understand. Israel was at “peace” with Gaza, until Oct 7 when Hamas declared war by murdering thousands.
Going Down Under, Quigley?...................
Because diplomacy worked so well before October 7.

Quigley is a quisling
I have an idea, how about kill every last one of them?
Where in the heck do we get these dumb bunny congress critters from? Do none of the. Read history?
From the article: “... And the manner in which Israel has conducted this war is a recruiting tool for Hamas....”
________
No, the existence of Israel in once-Muslim territory is the recruiting tool.
Everybody has thoughts on this problem.
This guy might be a first class moron, but he has a few things right. The People of GAZA support HAMAS. They cheered for rape, murder, kidnapping and torture. They were enthralled with murdered children. We aren’t talking about small percentage of the population here, we are talking about the majority of people in GAZA. In fact, more people in GAZA support HAMAS than Democrats think that Joe Biden is doing a good job. Let that sink in.
So, technically speaking HAMAS is a movement. You can’t kill an idea. When that idea, killing, raping, murder is ok to Jewish people, has been imprinted since infancy you can’t get it out. You can’t fix people that always view themselves as victims and never seek to build and create positive things. HAMAS is a movement of the entitled. Entitled by religious beliefs to murder and rape. Entitled by failure to blame others and never live peacefully with anyone. Every country the Palastinians go to is the same, they violently attempt to overthrow the government, and that’s why nobody wants them.
How I differ with this ‘Moron’ is the solution. Negotiation with terrorists is a giant waste of time. No, they all need to be relocated to the nation that has supported their terrorism and the Bigotry of these people. Put them on cargo ships and send everyone of them to Iran.
That’s the way to fix this problem. It’s the only way forward. Iran gets them, Iran becomes responsible for them and whatever they do next.
[Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL)]
Was he born an idiot or did he receive special idiot training?
Turn the other cheek RAT. The only way to stop Hamas is the complete destruction of them.
Some folks appreciate a punch in the face more than a talk to end their aggression. I think we’re in face territory when it comes to Hamas.
Kill every damned one of them?
