I was wondering about who was paying for that fiasco, if anyone. It would seem to me that any tragedy of that sort or the bridge in Baltimore should be carefully looked at as to insurance payments or other means of settlement before the government offers to pay. After all, the government has no money & they should never be so careless as to commit taxpayer funds for just everything. No wonder the gov’t. is broke & in very heavy debt.

Suffer an injury and the very first questions when signing in for services (e.g. imaging) are about where in the world the incident took place, and what were the circumstances.

Because, you know... if you were in any way injured on the job, even in some tangential way, or at a place of business, or otherwise not on your own property... they've gotta know.

I wonder how much of the need to know is in accessing the risk factors for a battle between insurance companies and workers' comp, or whoever else might be in the potential payment pool.
