From the videos, it looks like the ship took a hard turn to starboard. Why?

Sounds like it only got one anchor down which could have jerked it right?? Could have been a computer hack by terrorists??

“...the ship took a hard turn to starboard. Why?”

From what I’ve seen and heard over the last 24 hours from people who apparently do know what they’re talking about, the power failure occurred right as smaller side channel on the starboard side opened into the main channel. This would normally result in the ship wanting to go to starboard. Easily corrected, but without power the crew couldn’t correct. When power was restored, briefly, the crew attempted to stop the ship by dropping an anchor and perhaps reversing the engine. At this point the pilot notified harbor authorities that it was likely the ship would hit the bridge.

No doubt more will be learned about what exactly happened and when as the crew, captain, & pilot are debriefed. Whether or not the public will ever learn, who knows?
