I did as well. I think he was a decent man. That said, I hope they turn his funeral into the same kind of pep rally that they did with Paul Wellstone and we can again use it to bury these clymers in November.
As a democrat, he was delusional. He did seem to be sane though. RIP.

He was old school rat, like Zel Miller and Daniel Patrick Monahan. (Monahan is the only Democrat I ever voted for in a national election.)
I tend to agree. He was a likable fellow, seemed reasonable and was willing to compromise.
Didn't like some of the things he said/did when running as VP with Sore/Lieberman, however he returned to being likable and reasonable when that was over.
He was a statesman, we have few if any of them left anymore in the House or Senate.
RIP Senator Lieberman.
